The Art Deco gem that is the Palais d'I&eacute;na, built by the architect Auguste Perret for the Universal Exhibition of 1937, is a masterful blank slate, perfect for the occasion of the minimalistic Herm&egrave;s Men's Spring/Summer 2025 runway show. Bathed in light, models strode down the uniquely long catwalk, clad in designs from the Maison's latest collection.&nbsp;
Nuances, details, and subtle hints were key in the Herm&egrave;s Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection, as seen in cropped and patterned boxy jackets, elegantly oversized trousers, and impeccably tailored vests. The collection maintained a muted, laid-back color palette, consisting primarily of soft off-white, tan, baby blue, chocolate brown, blush pink, and spring green hues. Unzipped jackets and unbuttoned collars further emphasized the lax, effortlessly chic French style of design at work within the line.&nbsp;
Meticulously crafted leather bags, a Herm&egrave;s signature, were slung over the shoulders of models with ease, while summer footwear arrived in the form of strappy leather sandals and sleek loafers. While platform shoes are taking off as house signatures in other luxury labels, Herm&egrave;s has revived the classic, compact shoe as a sartorial staple for the upcoming season.&nbsp;
While the Bermuda short, or "dad short" as TikTok has dubbed it, has emerged as a popular street style this season, Herm&egrave;s reverts to retro-inspired, ultra-cropped hemlines for shorts in this menswear collection. The vintage-inspired vibes continued throughout the line, as seen in simple, striped button-down shirts reminiscent of fashion eras bygone.&nbsp;
In the accessory realm, models donned ultra-chic caps, fitted tightly to the head. Others appeared in necklaces that laid gently atop the collarbone, flaunting the iconic Herm&egrave;s hardware many devoted fans of the house will recognize from some of the most iconic handbags and shoes.
