Dior Men's Artistic Director Kim Jones explores softness and strength with a ballerina-inspired collection, featuring ready-to-wear and couture pieces.

If there&rsquo;s one thing Kim Jones has mastered, it is to intertwine Dior&rsquo;s heritage with his own aesthetical narrative. This season, he finds inspiration from the Dior archives and the style of legendary ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, exploring softness and strength through the House&rsquo;s savoir-faire.
&ldquo;It&rsquo;s the difference between onstage and backstage; the life of Nureyev theatrically and in reality,&rdquo; says Kim Jones about this collection of dualities: practicality and poetry, utility and lavishness, the reality of ready-to-wear and the theatricality of haute couture. 
From volumes and vents to pleats and necklines, Saint Laurent&rsquo;s influence is clear and enduring in this collection, while the iconic Bar Jacket and Oblique Suit are reworked into one with a fluid bar waist curve. Nostalgic simplicity is evident in the single-breasted suits and gently flared trousers in rich wool melange. Elsewhere, other pieces like zipped wool jumpsuits, second-skin ribbed knits and duffle-inflected outerwear showcase electrifying tailoring for movement and freedom.
For the first time this season, the creative designer presents men&rsquo;s couture, introduced alongside and in contrast to the ready-to-wear lineup. Flamboyant, insolent and elegant at once, the kimonos born from ancient hand techniques and the reimagined Debussy Dress, magnificently embroidered with iridescent beads and sequins, capture Nureyev&rsquo;s stage with intricate craftsmanship. Theatrical flair and refined wearability are seamlessly woven to express Nureyev&rsquo;s complexity as a dancer.

In an exclusive shoot within the intimate setting of a ballet studio, TOMORROW X TOGETHER bring their power and grace to the Dior Men Winter 2024/2025 collection. With some pieces reflecting onstage persona and others giving a glimpse of off-duty style, the quintet channels their artistic energy into the visuals.
