Under Armour's UA COMBINE, a prominent fitness competition in the region is making a comeback after a successful debut last year. This event serves as a testament to the brand's dedication in setting the highest standard for athlete performance. Building upon the motivational theme of Under Armour's "Protect This House," the upcoming UA COMBINE will take participants on a remarkable journey filled with various challenges that emphasize teamwork. This edition of the competition will bring together athletes from a wide range of sports and training disciplines at the renowned Sentul Depot. Here, they will push their boundaries, competing against fellow athletes from their country for a chance to win a significant cash prize pool of RM51,000.

In a bid to inspire and engage younger athletes, Under Armour has made a significant change by lowering the entry age for participation. Now, athletes aged 16 to 17 have the opportunity to compete in the UA COMBINE and stand a chance to win a valuable Under Armour product sponsorship. The top male and female youths in this age category will each receive a product sponsorship worth RM4,500, adding an exciting incentive for the aspiring athletes to showcase their skills and determination.

Scheduled for September 9th, 2023, the registration for UA COMBINE 2023 is now open to all participants. On the event day, each participating athlete will receive a complete set of Under Armour competitor gear. This year's UA COMBINE will present competitors with a series of eight challenging physical and mental tests meticulously designed by Michael Watts, Under Armour's Global Head of Athlete Performance. These tests will assess the athletes' agility, stamina, vertical leap, power, endurance, strength, speed, and cognition. Points will be awarded for each completed test, and athletes will be ranked based on their overall performance. In both the men's and women's divisions, cash prizes of RM15,000, RM7,500, and RM3,000, along with medals, will be awarded to the top three athletes in each category. The eight tests will specifically focus on agility (Agility Star Drill), stamina (Pull-up Beep Test), vertical leap (Vertical Jump Test), power (20m Sled Push), endurance (20m Beep Test), strength (3RM Bench Press), speed (40 Yard Dash), and cognition (Reactive Intelligence Wall).
