24 contemporary Korean artists come together to reimagine the iconic Lady Dior handbag.

On September 1, 2023, Dior unveiled the "Lady Dior Celebration," an innovative exhibition showcasing the artistic prowess of 24 contemporary Korean talents at the brand's Seongsu-dong concept store. This exhibition serves as a captivating convergence of diverse Korean artists, each contributing their unique interpretations inspired by Dior's iconic Lady Dior handbag. 
Within the exhibition hall, the spotlight was firmly on Lee Bul's renowned "Cella" sculpture, originally conceived for the Miss Dior exhibition held at Paris' Grand Palais in 2013. This awe-inspiring sculpture, standing at an impressive 16 feet in height, captivated visitors with its reflective crystal-shaped allure.

Among the distinguished creators participating in this exhibition, we find sculptor Bahk Seon-Ghi, visual artist and production designer Choi Jeong Hwa, still-life painter Gigisue, multimedia humorist Gimhongsok, and monochrome Dansaekhwa artist Ha Chong Hyun. This ensemble of artistic talent also includes photographer Heewon Kim, sketch artist Jia Lee, Jay Sae Jung Oh, whose sustainable material-based works blur the boundaries between sculpture and furniture, and Jukhee Kwon, known for transforming disused books into remarkable art pieces. Additionally, the exhibition features other exceptional artists spanning various disciplines, including Jungjin Lee, Jungpyo Hong, Kwangho Lee, Kyungwoo Chun, Lee Hun Chung, Lee Kun-Yong, Minjung Kim, Oh You Kyeong, Ran Hwang, Soo Sunny Park, Suki Seokyeong Kang, Wonmin Park, Yesum Yoon, and Zadie Xa.

Naturally, a Dior event of this magnitude wouldn't be complete without the presence of notable individuals. The opening event was graced by House ambassadors Jisoo, Jimin, and Cha Eunwoo, alongside other prominent South Korean celebrities, including Han Sohee, TXT, Sora Choi, and many more, who dazzled in their Dior attire.
