The new True Square Skeleton is an embodiment of Rado&rsquo;s unique square design philosophy.

Rado has long been a household name among watch enthusiasts and casuals alike thanks to its reputation for creative designs and use of groundbreaking materials such as&nbsp;high-tech ceramic. Aside from being lighter than steel and much tougher and resistant to scratches, another perk of high-tech ceramic is that it&rsquo;s able to be finished to a&nbsp;mirror-like&nbsp;polish&nbsp;or with a matte sheen.
One of Rado&rsquo;s most distinctive collections is without a doubt the True Square, an incredibly lightweight watch outfitted with an injection monobloc high-tech ceramic square case. It started with the True Square and True Square Open Heart where both of which had rounded corners to give them a gentle look and feel while accentuating the alluring dials. Today, with the release of the True Square Skeleton, Rado is proudly reemphasising its declaration: &ldquo;We don't just know square watches, we invented them.&rdquo;

With the brand&rsquo;s signature black, plasma, and white monobloc high-tech ceramic cases, measuring 38mm in width and 9.7mm in height, the three new models are suitably genderless. They also house split-level dials with cut-away top plates that reveal the precisely skeletonised R808 automatic movement. The minute wheel bridge and main platine in the black and plasma models are coated in anthracite to complement the nickel hue of the base dial plate and its C&ocirc;tes de Gen&egrave;ve ornamentation, while the white model&rsquo;s gold central wheel bridge draws the eye and beckons the onlooker to examine the workings of the exquisite mechanism.

To make a statement, each model has a different colour coating for the hands and indexes: rose gold for the black, silver for the plasma, and yellow gold for the white. The dials, showcasing Rado&rsquo;s hallmark moving anchor symbol, are shielded by flat sapphire crystals that are anti-reflective on both sides. In addition, a sapphire crystal embedded in the sandblasted titanium case-back reveals the watch&rsquo;s robust 80-hour power reserve as well as Nivachron hairspring that is unaffected by magnetic fields and temperature fluctuation.
The True Square Skeleton is unlike any other skeletonisation we've seen previously. The watch is separated into three parts: the top, which contains the balance and its Nivachron hairspring; the middle, which contains the hands, minute wheel bridge, and movement jewels; and the bottom, which contains the barrel connected to the power reserve. The masterpieces are complete with matching high-tech ceramic link bracelets.
