The highlights are the newly-renovated suites belonging to The Sands Collection and The Paiza Collection &mdash; the hotel refresh sees the number of luxury suites going up quite dramatically from 137 to 422. Spacious, bright and ultra-modern in design, the suites are elevated with thoughtful touches for a soothing home-away-from-home experience &mdash; cue cocktail trolleys;&nbsp;coffee, specialty tea and snacks in the Armoire; splendid views of Gardens by the Bay; elegant taupe-coloured and marble fixtures; and tech-led upgrades.

Following that, what stood out to you the most during your visit, particularly in the newly renovated luxury suite you occupied? January So: The suite's blend of luxury and comfort, combined with breath-taking views of the Gardens by the Bay was truly remarkable. The meticulous attention to detail in the design, which reflected Singapore&rsquo;s multicultural environment, made our stay both luxurious and culturally enriching.
Aaron Chin: Staying in the suite at Marina Bay Sands felt like stepping into our own private haven of sophistication and comfort. What really stood out was the feeling of having a personal sanctuary in the heart of the city. The intimate dining setup was perfect for cosy dinners &ndash; just us, some fine wine, and great conversations. It had this sense of elegance, yet felt so homely. But let me tell you about the bathroom &ndash; it was like having our own spa. That luxurious marble bathtub, big enough for two, was an absolute dream. It was more than just a place to freshen up; it was where we could unwind and just indulge in the moment. And the walk-in wardrobe with a dedicated dressing table added that extra touch of luxury, making getting ready for the day or an evening out feel like an event in itself. Every aspect of the suite, from the artisanal teas to the cocktail trolley, was thoughtfully curated, making our stay exceptionally memorable.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how much are you savouring the view from your Marina Bay Sands suite? Aaron Chin: It's an undeniable 10. Waking up to the breath-taking view of Gardens by the Bay from our suite was an experience in itself. The way the natural beauty of the gardens intertwined with the urban skyline created a stunning visual harmony that was captivating at any time of the day. Whether it was the lush greenery in the daylight or the mesmerizing light show at night, the view was not just a backdrop, but a highlight of our stay. It was truly a privilege to have such a magnificent spectacle right outside our window.

Undoubtedly, Marina Bay Sands offers a diverse culinary experience. As a vegan, could you recommend some top-notch restaurants specializing in plant-based cuisine? January So: Absolutely. During our stay, Mott 32 and Yardbird truly stood out with their exceptional plant-based offerings. Mott 32, known for its contemporary take on Chinese cuisine, offered an array of vegan dishes that were both innovative and deeply rooted in traditional flavours. Their ability to transform classic recipes into plant-based masterpieces was impressive. Yardbird, on the other hand, brought a delightful twist to Southern American comfort food, accommodating vegan preferences without compromising on taste. Their creativity in veganizing comfort classics was remarkable, making each dish a memorable part of our dining experience at Marina Bay Sands.

Considering the restaurants you've highlighted, what dishes would you suggest as must-tries? January So: At Mott 32, the must-try for any visitor is their plant-based degustation menu. This menu is a culinary journey, showcasing the versatility and depth of plant-based cuisine. Each dish is carefully crafted, combining traditional Chinese cooking techniques with innovative plant-based ingredients. The way Mott 32 infuses each dish with distinct flavours and textures, while still respecting the essence of traditional Chinese cuisine, is truly a gastronomic delight. It's an experience that not only satisfies the palate but also beautifully illustrates the art of vegan cooking

Aaron Chin: Le Noir is my top recommendation for some light reading and chilling at Marina Bay Sands. Its elegant yet cosy atmosphere, complemented by the serene views of the Singapore River, makes it an ideal spot to relax with a book and enjoy a peaceful moment.
